Piola Restaurant proudly presents Massimo Giordano, "Stopping time", will be in residence at Piola Restaurant from Wednesday April 14th through Wednesday July 29th.
"¡It is already gone.
It is not longer there and it's the only thing we will never have again as it once was.
An instant passed, quickly, more or less depending on how we were: more or less happy, more or less bored, more or less excited.
We have not noticed and perhaps we have wasted many instants, or maybe we only did not perceive their intensity, and now we can only sit back and observe ahead, trying to preserve something of the one that vanishes behind us.
This is how I interpret my work, painting to remember, to cherish and at least in part relive instants gone by, a past that won’t return.
I block on my diary images, not words, images and colors of that which I cannot stop:
Giordano’s distinctive artwork was nominated for the Premio Pescara, Italy and he won the 2nd place at Premio Espoarte Giovani-Papa Giulio II, International Prize of Visual Arts Espoarte 2003.
His paintings have been in exposition since 2003 at several galleries in Milan and Miami.
In 2005 Massimo Giordano moved to South Beach, Florida where he is pursuing his prolific career an artist.
