It is impossible for me to identify my artwork with one genre. The technique and style I employ reflect a constant evolution in my artistic journey, which is the foundation for the exhibit Z Mix, sponsored so graciously by Piola. I am thrilled to participate in Piola's ongoing effort to showcase cutting edge and innovative events in the literary and visual arts. With locations throughout the world, Piola brings a perfect blend of terrific food and cultural awareness to an ever-growing number of communities; it's a very dynamic and exciting project to be a part of, and it reflects my dream of a world without borders for the arts.
This dream stems from the fact that Brazil holds a very special place in my heart, for it’s where I studied architecture and design, and it’s where my family lives. I arrived in South Florida from São Paulo in 1990, and I return frequently and remain active in the Brazilian art scene, having displayed my work in various venues such as the Salão de Artes Armando Vianna in Rio de Janeiro and in the exposition Saguão do Diário de Mogi in São Paulo, which featured exclusively my artwork. Also, I recently donated a series of canvas paintings depicting key biblical scenes to the Cathedral of São José in Severínia, São Paulo. I find myself equally involved in the local art scene in the United States. My artwork can be found in private estates, offices, and restaurants throughout the south Florida region, as well as in New York City, San Francisco, and Austin. I am also fortunate to have been featured in various media venues, such as the Sun-Sentinel, Palm Beach Post, Miami Herald, and Ocean Drive Magazine. This latest exhibit of my work at Piola represents a truly meaningful milestone in my artistic journey; I hope everyone enjoys it!
