As she touched the canvas of the world like a small, pink brush stroke in 1983, nobody knew that brushes, colors and canvases would mean so much to her. The artist started to like colors in at preschool age. The breakup with her first love, the water color, was right around her graduation from the Arif Senel Elementary School in 1994. Her eternal love, the oil color, followed her when she went to the U.S. after her graduation from Nisantasi Isik High School in 2001.
The Bachelor of Science degree received as the top ranking student at the Art Institute of California, following the Associates in Arts degree received from the Irvine Valley College, were the fruits of the first love.
The artist, who, upon her return from the U.S. in 2007, has built herself a world of brushes, colors and canvases describes her art in the following words:
"Painting is the purpose of my life. My joys, sorrows, hopes, nightmares."
The artist who reflects her inner world on the canvas continues with her work in her workshop in Istanbul.
